Dear Myntra Grievance Officer,
I wish to formally complain regarding repeated cancellation of my confirmed orders for
“Flying Machine Men Sneakers”, ordered at ₹1043 after discount.
Order 1 was placed and confirmed, but cancelled on the delivery day with the vague reason:
“Unfortunately, we had to cancel your order due to unforeseen circumstances.”
Believing it to be a one-off issue, I placed the same order again from another account at the
same confirmed price. Shockingly, this order was also cancelled on the delivery day with the
same generic reason.
This amounts to:
• Deficiency in service under Section 2(11) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
• Unfair trade practice by displaying and accepting orders without intent to fulfil
• Violation of Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which prohibit arbitrary
cancellation of confirmed orders by the platform
I request the following within 7 days:
1. Written clarification for repeated cancellation of confirmed orders
2. Compensation for inconvenience and mental harassment
3. Either fulfilment of the order at the confirmed price OR an equivalent compensation voucher
Failing a satisfactory resolution, I will be constrained to escalate the matter to:
• National Consumer Helpline (NCH)
• Consumer Commission via the e-Daakhil portal
