1. Background:
I am a female entrepreneur who purchased an Ola electric vehicle for the sole purpose of running my commercial business and earning my daily livelihood. The vehicle purchase was funded via a loan from Greaves Finance Limited.
2. Deficiency of Service:
The vehicle suffered severe operational breakdowns during the warranty period. Despite multiple follow-ups, service bookings, and escalations, Ola Electric failed to provide functional repairs, alternative vehicles, or timely after-sales support. The vehicle remained completely non-operational for months due to Ola's absolute failure of service.
3. Severe Financial Injury & Business Closure:
Due to the vehicle being continuously broken down, my daily business operations completely halted. This prolonged operational failure directly caused massive ongoing financial losses, ultimately forcing me to close down my entire business completely. Consequently, I lost my sole source of income and defaulted on my monthly bank EMIs, leading to severe legal demand notices and collection harassment.
4. Relief Sought:
I respectfully request the Hon’ble Consumer Forum to direct Ola Electric to:
Provide a Full Refund of the vehicle purchase amount with 9% interest per annum.Pay ₹2,00,000/- as compensation for total business closure, loss of livelihood, severe mental harassment, and agony.Pay all outstanding loan liabilities or settlement costs arising from this default.
