Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding the non‑receipt of a refund for a cancelled flight booking.
My flight from DXB to TRV, booked through MMT and scheduled for 4 April, was cancelled by the airline due to operational reasons. I opted for a full refund, and the total booking amount was ₹55,520. As per the Special Claim Tracking section in the MMT app, a refund amount of ₹48,624 was initiated on 27 March. Upon following up with customer care, I was informed that the refund of ₹48,624 was processed on 31 March. The convenience fee (deducted from my original booking) amount of ₹6,896 was credited to my account on 13 March after raising the issue with customer care.
However, as of today, the refund amount of ₹48,624 has still not been credited to my bank account. I have also confirmed with my bank, and they have verified that no such transaction has been received from MMT. It has now been over 15 business days since the refund was reportedly processed.
Additionally, I have already sent an email regarding this issue to the MMT grievance officer but have not received any response so far. I have been contacting customer care daily; however, I only receive automated responses related to the refund breakup. My calls are repeatedly placed on hold, and I have been unable to connect with a travel specialist due to high call volumes. On multiple occasions, I have waited in the queue for 40–45 minutes without resolution.
I request you to urgently look into this matter and provide:
