We had booked a ticket for 2 adults and 1 child(1 year) old for 30th Dec 2025 from Birmingham(UK) to Mumbai( India) through Saudia airline via Goibibo App. Ticket cost us around ₹94,529/- . There was a name spelling mistake for 1 pax where the letter ‘I’ was incorrectly updated as ‘U’ for which the request was raised with goibibo on 5th Dec 2025 for correction. However, they failed to get it update the name with airlines. We did check with airline and they confirmed that it can be easily done by the travel partner Goibibo through which the ticket was booked.
One fine day on 18th Dec 2025 we received an email from Goibibo stating the ticket is partially cancelled for one of the passenger named ‘Jinmarua Alias’ which they claimed that was done by us by directly connecting with the airline which we deny as saudia airline does not allow to cancel the flight if booked via travel partner. Due to which i ended up booking a new ticket for the canceled passenger. With repeated email and to and fro conversation Goibibo customer care did say that the 45000 amount would be refunded for the cancelled passenger to the actual mode of payment which we never received yet. As per the TAT it was supposed to be credited back to actual mode of payment within 5-10 bank working days but till date i have not received a single penny. Even sending repeated emails and calls to their customer care no response to it. If we even get connect to the live agent they disconnect the call citing we can’t hear you. There customer service is pathetic no one know what can be done to solve the problem. I was supposed yo get their supervisor call but till date i did not received it.
