Dear MakeMyTrip Support Team,
I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction regarding my recent South India tour (Booking ID: NL2122415850122) under my wife name -Aysha Kani
A formal complaint was previously raised on May 1, 2026 (Ticket No: 23432025371187328), yet I have not received a satisfactory resolution or a timely response from your representative, Sunanda.
The core of my grievance is as follows:
Known Disruptions: During the first two days of my Kodaikanal trip, local vendors prevented us from visiting most sightseeing locations due to ongoing protests.
Failure to Disclose: Local vendors confirmed these protests began on April 24, 2026. Both the travel partners and MakeMyTrip were reportedly aware of this situation well before my arrival.
Negligence: Despite having this information, MakeMyTrip failed to inform me of these disruptions. This lack of transparency resulted in significant financial loss and a total loss of the vacation experience we paid for.
As a customer, I feel misled. Had I been informed of the situation in advance, I could have made alternative arrangements. Instead, I was left to navigate these issues on the ground with no support.
Required Resolution:
I am requesting a formal review of this case and a fair compensation/refund for the missed sightseeing and the distress caused by this oversight.
I look forward to a prompt response and a better resolution than what has been provided thus far. Please acknowledge receipt of this email within 24 hours.
After multiple attempts unable to contact support team and no response for an email. Need resolution and refund for my mental agony..
