Booked a room thru Oyo online on 11 Nov 2024 for 27 and 28 Nov 2024 and took Rs 2141 in advance. On reaching hotel, owner refused yo entertain my booking. Oyo offered another hotel who also declined. I had to pay in cash for my stay in hotel, thus causing great inconvenience and monetary loss of Rs 2141 which Oyo is declining to return.

  2. Send a Legal Notice: If OYO fails to resolve the issue, send a legal notice demanding compensation for deficiency in service and any additional costs incurred.
  3. File a Case: If unresolved, you can file a case in the Consumer Forum. Use the chat proof and all other correspondence as evidence.

Oyo will take my mone and not refund me. Because they are saying that they book my hotel . I want to take myoney back because I didn't stay any hotel because where they can say my room was booked on that hotel there no room is available for booking. Although I want to back my money this is my request form oyo .

Please follow the steps mentioned below. If you have already contacted the OYO customer care via email and have not received any response, kindly share the relevant details with us so that we may guide you further.

We recommend that you first email to the customer care department of the OYO (india.grievances@oyorooms.com, escalations@oyorooms.com), clearly outlining your concerns and requesting for Compensation and also ask them to Refund the amount.

This step not only gives the OYO a chance to compensate and refund but also helps strengthen your case if you decide to file a complaint with the Consumer Forum later..

If they already refunded the amount and provided you the reference number but the amount is not reflecting in your account, please contact your bank or payment provider.
