We purchased a washing machine from IFB company, costing approximately ₹50,000, expecting quality and reliable service. However, we’ve been facing continuous issues with the machine since December 2024.
Despite registering multiple complaints over the past few months, the problem has not been resolved properly. The same issue keeps recurring, and the service team has not provided a permanent solution.

I have been troubled by this machine for the past 3 years. The clothes don’t get washed properly — water remains in them and they don’t dry either. And when I use the dry mode, the machine shakes violently and makes a loud noise, as if it’s going to fall over. I’ve been filing complaints continuously for the last 3 years. If this machine is not exchanged now, I will go to the Consumer Court and file a complaint against you. This is the worst product — it has caused me both mental and financial distress. Your service is extremely poor.
 
Dear IFB Customer Care Team,

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the complete non-functionality of my IFB washing machine, which has not been working for the past six days.
They call me every morning and ask for my home address and location. When I told them my location, they said it wasn't in my area. This has been going on for the last five days.
I have attached everything.

Despite multiple attempts to reach your service team, there has been no resolution – no technician visit, no timeline for repair, and no ETA on when the machine will be made operational.

This prolonged downtime is causing significant disruption to my daily household routine. Six days without a working washing machine is unacceptable, especially for an appliance from a brand that claims to offer reliable after-sales support.

I expect the following immediately:

1. A service technician assigned to visit my home within 24 hours.
2. A clear diagnosis and repair plan, with parts (if needed) arranged urgently.
3. Compensation or an escalation path if this is not resolved within 48 hours.

Please treat this as my final attempt to resolve this amicably before I escalate to consumer forums, social media, and the National Consumer Helpline (1915). I also reserve the right to seek a replacement or refund under the Consumer Protection Act if the issue persists.
