I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Goibibo (www.goibibo.com) for failing to refund my hotel booking amount, despite valid reasons and repeated follow-ups.

I had booked a hotel via Goibibo for the above-mentioned dates. As per the amenities listed on the Goibibo website, the hotel was supposed to have the following:
Parking facility
Security guard
Restaurant
Dining area
However, upon reaching the hotel, I was shocked to find that none of these amenities were available. The hotel did not provide parking, had no security arrangements, and there was no restaurant or dining area as claimed. Due to this, the stay was completely unsuitable for me and my family.
I immediately approached the hotel reception, and they asked me to cancel the booking online through Goibibo. I then called Goibibo customer care to request cancellation and a full refund. They informed me that they would call back shortly, but I never received any follow-up call.
I waited with my parents for over an hour in distress, without any response from Goibibo. Later, on the evening of 24 June 2025, I tried calling Goibibo again, but my calls were repeatedly blocked or unanswered. This is a clear case of customer negligence and unfair business practices.
