Hi Team,

My flight got cancelled after checkin (3hrs before taking off).

1. Communication wasn’t given on time as my flight was scheduled at 9.20 later got shifted to 11am. Thereafter when I reached airport i got the information On cancellation.
2. After lot of conversation and back and forth they booked my flight but not helping me with accommodations whereas it is clearly Stated in attached document by DGCA which is a government guideline that airlines are bound to provide accommodation, flights and refreshments. Else airlines need to pay 400% refund.


Let us know which one would be provided as the tickets are booked.

Being a girl my entire group has left as per their scheduled flight and i am literally on road. Who would be responsible for my safety? My number is also not operational as I an in Kashmir.

This is not acceptable at all... You have a very strong reason to file a case against the akasa air.
it is clearly Stated in attached document by DGCA which is a government guideline that airlines are bound to provide accommodation, flights and refreshments. Else airlines need to pay 400% refund.
Please share the document so that we can guide you accordingly.

That day all the flights got rescheduled but all of them flew. It was cancelled less than 3hrs before the takeoff which caused a lot of inconvenience. The airline was liable to arrange accommodation and refreshments.

I incurred an additional over 6-7 thousand expenses of food, stay and travel due to last minute cancellation and rescheduling. I would want to be compensated for the same. Kindly help us with the same. It has impacted me greatly.
