I placed an order through the Zomato app containing 4 items. However, upon delivery, 1 item was missing from the order.
I immediately contacted Zomato support regarding the issue. Instead of refunding the amount for the undelivered item to my original payment method, I was offered only a coupon which is also less. I clearly informed the support team that I do not wish to accept a coupon and requested a refund to the original payment source used during payment.
Despite this, Zomato support refused to process the refund and stated that only coupon compensation can be provided.
Since the item was never delivered, this amounts to deficiency in service and unfair resolution of the complaint. I request that the refund amount for the missing item be credited back to my original payment method at the earliest.
