Dear Consumer Complaints Officer,
I am writing to you as the last resort. We had ordered a sleeping mattress from Amazon. This is a high end mattress costing INR35,257/-.
The mattress company is Wakefit. The product sent to us was of the wrong size and hence we asked for the replacement. Since, neither Amazon not Wakefit was able to get me a replacement, they authorised a refund. For this a pickup agent came on 14June but refused to pickup as the product was to big and heavy for his vehicle.
However, since 15June we have been following up with both, Amazon and Wakefit but there is no concrete solution being provided and we have only ben asked to wait.
Amazon team have also filed an A to Z claim that is supposed to protect consumers from such situations but they too have not been consistent in their messaging. On their own they have increased the timeline without providing any new information or justification. To the extent that their representatives have on their own even sent me an email that the claim is withdrawn.
Such circumstances lead me to believe that this is a combined effort by Amazon and the seller, that is Wakefit mattress to cheat the consumer.
It is my appeal for your intervention on this matter and get us a speedy resolution and my refund at the earliest.
