Dear Team,
I want to inform you that yesterday I placed a food order on Zomato. The order ID was #8026333745. When I repeatedly asked about it, they told me that my order was delayed, and in that case, they added ₹5 to my Zomato account.Then when my order arrived, it was completely different from what I had ordered. I called the delivery partner, whose name was Babal Preet, and he said, “My job is only to deliver, and I have done that.” Before this, I had asked them to cancel my order, which they did not do.When I took the order to the restaurant and told them that the wrong order had been sent, the restaurant owner said, “From Zomato, this is the order that will go,” and he said this very rudely to me. My son was with me. I threw the order outside his restaurant and came back. My concern now is:
First, the order was not delivered on time.
Second, despite me repeatedly asking, they did not cancel my order.
Third, I received the wrong order.
Fourth, the rude behavior by the restaurant owner.
Fifth, committing to the order and then sending the wrong one.
And last, my money was wasted.Now I want justice. I should get my money back and the respect I deserve. This is not the first time that Zomato has failed to keep its promise.
