We purchased a queen size bed from Wakefit website with hydraulic mechanism and an upholstered headboard with dimensions 78"x60" with no description of the height or thickness of the upholstery. Our mattress is a Sleepwell queen size 78x60 standard mattress which does not fit the bed as the upholstery thickness keeps it from completely fitting in. I have raised this with Wakefit multiple times and even requested to exchange with an upholstered headboard which is the cheaper variant. Wakefit is only offering to replace with a King-size bed where I need to pay the difference however that does not serve my purpose. They are insisting that we buy their mattress to ensure proper fitting. I had a horrible experience with their mattress earlier hence switched to a better quality premium mattress from another brand. There is absolutely no guidance on the recommended height or the thickness of the upholstery. The customer care is of zero support.
