I am writing to bring to your urgent attention a serious issue regarding my loan originally taken from L&T Finance.

We have taken a loan from L&T Finance; however, when we visited the L&T Finance branch, no records of our loan were found. We were informed that the loan was sold down, but no documentation or confirmation regarding this sell-down has ever been provided to us by the branch.

As per instructions, we also contacted Tatkal Finance, but we have not received any support or proper guidance from their team. Later, we were informed that the loan has been transferred to Kotak Bank. Since then, we are continuously being redirected in circles—L&T Finance sends us to Tatkal Finance, Tatkal Finance sends us to Kotak Bank, and Kotak Bank again redirects us back, without giving any final resolution.

We have personally visited the branch multiple times, but there has been no response, clarity, or assistance from their side.

This situation has caused us extreme stress and inconvenience. Therefore, I request you to kindly:

  1. Provide the official documentation for the loan sell-down/transfer.
  2. Clarify which financial institution currently holds my loan.
  3. Update the correct loan status and provide a written confirmation.
  4. Assign a responsible officer who can resolve this matter on priority.
I request your immediate action to resolve this long-pending issue.

This is to bring to your notice that we have visited the Nashik Branch multiple times, but the NOC for my loan is still not provided.


As per your team, the NOC was supposed to be sent from the Head Office by post, but I have not received it till date.


For your reference:


  • Loan was taken in 2016
  • Loan was fully closed in 2019
  • After that, COVID lockdown started, and all offices were closed
  • Due to the lockdown, there was no opportunity to visit the branch
  • After offices resumed (after almost 2 years), your staff informed that no records were found in L&T Finance
  • Later, without any communication, the loan was suddenly sold to a third-party agency

This has caused unnecessary inconvenience and mental stress. I request you to kindly look into the matter urgently and issue my NOC immediately, as the loan was already closed.
