I am writing to formally escalate an unresolved issue regarding a defective product received against my Flipkart order.

Issue Details:

I received the product in good physical condition, with no visible dents or external damage. However, upon attempting to use the earbuds, I encountered multiple functional defects:

  1. The earbuds initially failed to pair with my mobile device.
  2. Even after installing the Realme Link application, the device did not pair properly.
  3. After resetting the charging case multiple times, the earbuds paired with one device but could not be detected by other devices.
  4. The right earbud continuously emits a beeping sound during use.
  5. The defective behavior caused discomfort and ear pain for two days and I joined the hospital.
  6. The product is clearly defective and not functioning as intended.
I contacted Flipkart customer support and requested a return/refund. However, I was instructed to visit a Realme service center. When I contacted the service center, I was informed that they cannot repair or resolve the issue because the product itself is defective.

Additionally, there are no conveniently accessible Realme service centers near my location, making the proposed resolution impractical.

As a customer, I should not be compelled to use a defective product, especially when the defect was present from the beginning. I purchased these earbuds for approximately ₹6,040 using my first salary, and this experience has been extremely disappointing.

Request:

I respectfully request:

  1. Immediate approval of a return and refund for the defective product.
  2. Closure of the matter without requiring unnecessary service center visits.
  3. A written response confirming the refund process and timeline.
