I am writing to escalate a serious issue regarding my brand-new Voltas Window Inverter AC (5 Star), purchased on 23 April 2026.

Despite being a newly purchased unit, the product has failed repeatedly within a very short span of time, causing severe inconvenience and distress to my family.

Complaint History:​

    Issue: AC not cooling
    Findings from technician visit: Gas was not present in the unit. No leakage was identified.
Over the last two days, four technician visits have been conducted, and I would like to highlight the contradictory findings provided by your service team:
  • On 23 June 2026, technicians visited twice and informed us that the AC was not cooling due to a lack of gas.
  • On 24 June 2026, the first technician visited and stated that there was no gas leakage, the gas level was normal, and the issue was due to an overheated compressor.
  • Later on the same day, another technician visited and, after inspection, informed us that the issue was suspected to be with the PCB, which had already been replaced on 19 May 2026 under Request No. 26051901679.
These inconsistent diagnoses clearly indicate that the root cause has not been identified despite multiple service visits. As a customer, I purchased a new AC by paying the full amount and did not expect to face repeated breakdowns, inconvenience, and uncertainty regarding repairs.

At this stage, I am no longer interested in further troubleshooting attempts. I have completely lost confidence in both the product and the service support provided.

Therefore, I formally request Voltas and the dealer to arrange for an immediate replacement of this AC with a new unit.

I request your urgent intervention and a final resolution without any further delay.
