Dear Consumer Forum support team,

cc: COO and CFO, Flipkart.
I am writing to report a case of cyber fraud involving unauthorized purchase of Flipkart gift cards using my parents’ bank accounts via Google Pay.This is a genuine matter and I request your office to treat my complaint with utmost priority.
On 18 April 2026 11:00 AM, fraudsters impersonating LPG agents deceived my parents into scanning a QR code, which resulted in unauthorized debit transactions. These funds were subsequently used to purchase Flipkart gift cards, details of which are provided below.

These gift cards were issued via Google Pay (issuer: Pine Labs / Euronet Worldwide). We have reason to believe that the fraudsters have either already redeemed or attempted to redeem these gift cards.

URGENT REQUEST​

I request Flipkart to immediately:
  1. Freeze / block the above gift cards to prevent further usage or redemption
  2. Identify and block the Flipkart account(s)/wallet(s) where these gift cards have been added or redeemed
  3. Share the following details for investigation:
    • Account details (email ID / phone number) where cards were redeemed
    • Date and time of redemption
    • IP address and device details used
  4. Preserve all logs and transaction records for law enforcement purposes

Legal & Investigation Status​

  1. A complaint has been registered on the National Cyber Crime Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) via 1930.
  2. The matter is being escalated with bank authorities and local cyber cell.
I request your urgent cooperation under cyber fraud and financial crime protocols to help prevent further misuse and assist in recovery of funds.

  3. FIR with the police in New Delhi
