Dear DTDC Customer Support,

I am filing a formal consumer complaint regarding Consignment No. P5000495064.

My shipment has been falsely marked as "Delivered", but the parcel has still not been delivered to my customer.

Today, I visited the DTDC office, where your staff informed me that the delivery executive had wrongly updated the shipment as delivered. Despite repeated follow-ups and multiple calls, the parcel has still not been received by my customer.

This is a serious case of a false delivery update and negligence. I seek immediate answers to the following:

  • Why was the shipment falsely marked as "Delivered" when it has not been delivered?
  • Who authorized this fake delivery update?
  • Where is my parcel currently?
  • When will it actually be delivered to my customer?
The parcel contains Turkish Anjeer worth approximately ₹3,000 and Kashmiri Kesar worth ₹500. These are perishable food products, and the delay caused by your employee's negligence may result in spoilage, causing financial loss and damage to my business reputation.

I therefore demand:

  1. Immediate delivery of my parcel.
  2. A written explanation for the false "Delivered" status.
  3. Compensation for any loss if the products are received damaged or spoiled due to the delay.
  4. Confirmation of the action taken against the concerned delivery executive.
If this issue is not resolved within 48 hours, I will file a complaint before the Consumer Commission and escalate the matter on social media and other appropriate authorities with all supporting evidence, including the false delivery status and previous correspondence.

I expect your immediate written response and resolution.
