Sir,
I dad purchased an AC from Reliance Retail Limited Reliance Digital UGF FF CP 4/3 Ratan Khand Sharda Nagar Yojana Lucknow -226012 of LG brand Model US-Q19CNZE for Rs 44565/= on 28/02/2026 along with extended warranty from resQ care plan of 4 years thereby paying Rs 10549/- for the same. The extended warranty had started from 01/03/2026 to 28/02/2030 with book serial no 3908417. From the date of purchase ie up to one year it remained under the Guarantee of LG and they had repaired it for the same problem of rat bite without any cost to me.

On 29/03/2026 since the summer season had started, I had tried to put my AC on but it gave error so on 29/03/2026 I called their service centre for the first time and booked a complaint under service order number: 8079918414.On 30/032026 their technician came and checked the outer and informed that some rats had entered the outer and damaged the cables etc, he called his service centre over his mobile and informed me that these are not covered under AMC and that if you have to get it repaired you will have to pay for it. Whereas in their warranty book book on page no 24 it clearly mentions items that are not covered under warranty as AC Accessories -stabilizer, copper pipe, vinyl tape, water outlet tray under Plastic metal parts- plastic fins,Grill,filters,casing, Thus this clearly means all others are covered under the plan then why wires and other electronic items etc which were damaged can not be replaced/repaired by them.

I tried to convince the store manager showing the guarantee book but he remained reluctant saying since it is an external damage it cannot be covered under warranty I thus took up the matter with their higher authorities through email namely Customer head, CEO at first instance they assured me that they would get the problem resolved within 24 hrs (emails are attached) I waited for their reply suffering from sleepless nights, I had even told them that in case you are not able to get my AC repaired please return my AMC amount of Rs 10549/- as I am now not interested in continuing with the warranty, but after waiting for so long they have now refused to either repair nor return by AMC amount.

I therefore appeal before you to finally get my AMC amount of Rs 10549/= refunded from the company as I am not satisfied by their service and have lost faith. I also want Compensation of Rs 5000/= as due to their bad services for the last 15 days, I had suffered a lot by having sleepless nights and also for misleading on the pretext that all items are covered under warranty at the time of purchase and later denying them.
