Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to address a specific concern regarding my Overdraft (OD) account, No# 179605002039 I am holding with ICICI Bank. As a salaried individual, my entire monthly salary is credited towards the OD limit, leaving me with no remaining balance in my account. Despite this, I continue to receive persistent calls from bank representatives, urging me to deposit additional funds to cover the interest incurred on the OD account.

I have repeatedly explained that every month I am deposited way more than the interest amount. Moreover, I do not have any additional sources of income to cover the unjustified additional money. I have reached out authorities within the bank requesting for a practical solution.
I respectfully request the Ombudsman to examine:
  1. Whether the bank's repeated calls and demands, despite regular credits into the account, constitute unfair or unreasonable recovery practices.
  2. Why the bank has failed to provide a workable resolution, restructuring option, or meaningful assistance despite being aware of my repayment capacity and financial situation.
  3. Whether the bank's conduct is in line with RBI guidelines on fair treatment of borrowers and recovery practices
I request your intervention to ensure that the bank adopts a fair and reasonable approach, ceases unnecessary harassment, and engages constructively in arriving at a practical solution for managing the overdraft account.

I am willing to provide copies of account statements, correspondence with the bank, and call records, if required.
