Please refer to the below service requests to understand the extent of the issues and repeated follow-ups we have been going through since last few weeks:
  1. 5928829 – Raised on 14 August; the request is still showing as In Progress, with no final resolution.
  2. 5947799 – Raised on 16 August; this request is also still showing as In Progress.
  3. RNA260819000201 – An installation request was raised by the Reliance team, whereas our actual requirement was clearly for repair/service of the non-functional TV.
  4. RNA260819090479 – Another request was subsequently raised for repair, further demonstrating the lack of coordination and ownership between the teams handling this case.
During the LG engineer's visit, the engineer inspected the TV and provided an estimate for the replacement of the defective display panel. However, instead of proceeding with the replacement as advised, Reliance is now informing us that replacement is not feasible and that the TV will be repaired.

This raises a serious concern for me as a customer. I have already paid for 2 years of extended warranty and 1 year of additional RCP coverage. Given the repeated delays and the fact that the TV has already been non-functional since 14 August, I am concerned that the current approach is simply to delay the resolution and push the repair until the remaining warranty period is exhausted, rather than providing the appropriate resolution under the coverage that I have already paid for.

I sincerely hope this is not the approach being taken by Reliance Digital. However, the repeated changes in communication, multiple service requests, missed engineer commitments, incorrect request types, and now the change from panel replacement to repair have unfortunately created this impression.

This is exactly the concern I have been trying to highlight in my escalation. Instead of one team taking ownership and resolving the issue, multiple requests are being created, different teams are providing different information, and I am being forced to repeatedly follow up and explain the same issue.

The TV has been non-functional since 14 August, and despite the warranty/extended coverage purchased by me, there is still no clear resolution or committed timeline.
Latter the TV was picked up on 30 August at 3:00 PM, and it has now been more than 10 days since it was taken for repair. However, I have not yet received any update on the status of the repair.

As per your email dated 30 August, you had committed to resolving the issue within 6 days. With almost all committed timeline already elapsed it includes 6th Sep, 7th Sep, 8th Sep, 9th Sep 5pm & 9PM and today morning.

I was expecting;
  1. immediate ownership of this case and consolidate all the above service requests under a single case/reference.
  2. Assign one accountable point of contact who will coordinate with me until final resolution.
  3. Provide a clear and firm resolution timeline.
  4. Clarify why an installation request was raised when the reported issue was clearly for repair/service.
  5. Provide a written clarification on why the panel replacement recommended/estimated by the LG engineer is now being changed to a repair.
  6. Confirm that the resolution will be provided under my extended warranty/RCP coverage without any attempt to delay the matter until the warranty period expires.
  7. Review the handling of this case and take appropriate corrective action with the teams responsible for the repeated delays and lack of coordination.
I have already spent a considerable amount of time making 100+ calls, visiting the store, coordinating with Reliance support, and even personally following up with LG. I should not have to continue spending my time chasing multiple teams for a product for which I have already paid for extended warranty coverage.

I sincerely hope this escalation receives the urgent attention it deserves and that Reliance Digital will now provide a fair, transparent, and time-bound resolution rather than another round of redirection between different teams.

Given the severe inconvenience and emotional distress caused, I am requesting the following:
1. Immediate replacement of LG TV panel.
2. Compensation for mental anguish and the physical discomfort caused by the delays, amounting to ₹1 Crore, due to the extreme distress, headaches, and heartburn this has caused.
3. A formal apology from Reliance Digital acknowledging their failure in customer service.
