Hello,
I am writing to formally escalate a serious complaint regarding a nebulizer kit I ordered through Swiggy Instamart, which was delivered in an unacceptable and unsafe condition.
Order details:
* Product: Omron Nebulizer (NE-C106)
* Order number : 226773407914572
* Date: January 7, 2026
Issues observed on delivery:
1. The outer packaging was badly damaged and covered with dust, clearly indicating improper storage and handling.
2. The product was not in a sealed condition, allowing dust to enter the box.
3. The nebulizer kit, in which the Nebulier Suspension is poured is missing from the box. Also, other accessories like pipe and accessories were exposed to dust and not sealed in proper hygienic packaging.
4. As per the manufacturing details on the box, the item is 2024 stock, raising further concerns about how long and in what condition it was stored.
5. Most critically, the Nebulizer Kit itself is MISSING from the packaging.
The box mentions a complete nebulizer set, but the essential nebulizer kit/components were not present at all, making the product completely unusable.
I purchased this nebulizer urgently because my child has been suffering from serious breathing issues for the past few days, and the doctor advised immediate nebulization. Because of the missing components and unhygienic condition, I am unable to use the device, which is delaying necessary medical treatment and causing extreme anxiety.
When I contacted Swiggy customer support, I did not receive any meaningful assistance and was merely asked to send an email. This is highly unacceptable given that this concerns a child’s respiratory health and a defective medical delivery.
However, after multiple emails sent to them, they haven't resolved the issue.
This incident raises serious concerns:
• Delivery of an incomplete medical device
• Supply of an unsealed and contaminated product
• Lack of urgency and accountability in customer support
I just want them to either of the below
- Pick up the item that arrived without the nebulizer kit for a full refund which is of no use for me.
- Provide me the missing item
- Refund my amount if they don't want to pick up
I request immediate action:
1. Full refund OR immediate replacement with a brand-new, fully sealed, complete nebulizer set.
2. Escalation to the Instamart senior management and quality control team.
3. Written confirmation of corrective measures to prevent such incidents with medical products.
I have provided them photographic evidence clearly showing:
- Damaged and dusty packaging
- Unsealed inner contents
- Missing nebulizer kit/components
