Subject: Swiggy Instamart Order 236589316017447 – Issue with Delivery Partner
I am writing to formally escalate my complaint regarding Swiggy Instamart Order 236589316017447. On May 3, 2026, at 2:22 PM, I reported through both the Swiggy app and email that the delivery person had taken an extra Rs. 100.00 from us at the time of delivery. Despite promptly raising this issue and requesting Swiggy’s assistance to investigate, identify, and resolve the matter, my complaint was not addressed appropriately.
We had complained on swiggy app very same day, under few minutes or under an hour and mailed also to swiggy but still my complaint was not addressed properly.
After 13 days, I received a response mail from Swiggy stating that they could not take any action regarding the incident and would only share my feedback with the vendor for future reference. This response is highly disappointing and does not address the seriousness of my complaint. It appears that Swiggy lacks mechanisms to monitor or hold delivery partners accountable for misconduct, leaving customers vulnerable to fraud or other unethical practices.
They don't have any control over delivery persons—if some person is trying to do robbing, cheating, or any miscellaneous kind of activity with the customer, the Swiggy team can't track or catch that person. I just want the govt to understand and quickly take some serious action against the Swiggy Instamart channel, which doesn't provide any help, resolution, tracking policy for the delivery partner, etc., which can result in such a big thing in the future.
I am dissatisfied with Swiggy’s resolution and urge the relevant authorities to take this matter seriously. There is an urgent need for stricter policies and better accountability from platforms like Swiggy Instamart to protect customers and prevent similar incidents in the future.

I am writing to follow up on a complaint I lodged three days ago regarding a fraudulent and confusing transaction involving your delivery partner for Instamart order number 236589316017447. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive any communication or explanation from your team regarding this matter.
The total value of my order was Rs 285.00. My wife paid the delivery partner with a Rs 500.00 note. However, the delivery partner returned only Rs 100.00 to her. She mistakenly assumed the order total was Rs 385.00 and believed she had left Rs 15.00 as a tip, accepting the Rs 100.00 change. Later, after reviewing the bill with me, we realized that the delivery partner had taken Rs 100.00 extra due to this confusion.
My order value was Rs285.00.
My wife gave the delivery partner a Rs500.00 note.
And he gave her back just Rs 100.00; she assumed that order was of Rs 385.00, which it wasn't, and she assumed she left Rs 15.00 with him as a tip and took just Rs 100.00 back, which was supposed to be Rs 200.00. When later she checked the total and discussed with me the bill amount, we came to know that we had been cheated, and in confusion the delivery partner took Rs 100.00 extra. We complained on the app, but still no help, no support till date from Swiggy Instamart.
We reported this issue through the app immediately, but there has been no response or support from Swiggy Instamart to date.
I kindly request that you investigate this matter with the delivery partner, contact him, and arrange a refund of Rs 100.00 to us. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to share our experience on social media and consumer forums to highlight the lack of support and the fraudulent behavior encountered.
