Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Airtel Network Service, Internet Issues, and Pricing Concerns
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to raise a complaint regarding the poor network quality and service issues I have been continuously facing as an Airtel user.
The Airtel network frequently goes up and down and sometimes becomes completely inactive. Internet connectivity is also highly unstable and fluctuates regularly. Approximately 5–6 times a day, the internet stops working completely, and a "!" symbol appears on the network signal despite having proper network coverage.
I am paying for one of the expensive Airtel recharge plans, but the service quality does not justify the cost. Customer support repeatedly provides false assurances by saying that complaints have been raised and resolutions will be provided, but I neither receive callbacks nor proper solutions. Customers are only informed that a complaint has been registered without any actual resolution.
I am currently using the ₹399 recharge plan, which provides a 28-day validity with an unlimited 5G offer. However, even while being in a 5G coverage area, the internet often does not work on 5G and instead consumes regular 4G data. Once the 4G data limit gets exhausted, the unlimited 5G service becomes practically useless because the network itself does not perform properly.
If the infrastructure and network quality are not ready to provide proper 5G services, then such plans should not be marketed with promises that cannot be delivered effectively. Customers are paying high prices but are not receiving the expected service quality.
Additionally, I would like to raise concerns regarding pricing. Telecom services have become increasingly expensive despite inconsistent service quality. Consumers are paying significantly higher charges while still facing network and internet issues.
I request the Government of India and concerned authorities to review this matter seriously. Appropriate actions should be taken against telecom providers that make unrealistic promises, overcharge users, and fail to provide reliable services. Telecom companies should ensure better service quality and fair pricing that genuinely benefits customers.
I may not be able to provide the exact amount, but I have been using Airtel for the last 12 years, so you can understand that my money has been getting wasted over time due to these ongoing service issues.
I kindly request that this complaint be reviewed and necessary actions be taken at the earliest.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Airtel User
