I am writing to raise a formal complaint against MakeMyTrip regarding the non-refund of ₹1,10,000 due to us for a cancelled flight booking.
We booked a flight ticket through MakeMyTrip, and at the time of booking, the fare/product clearly included a full refund in case of cancellation. Relying on this stated refund condition, we proceeded with the booking and later cancelled the ticket.
However, despite the cancellation, we have not received the refund amount of ₹1,10,000. It has now been 30 days, and the amount is still outstanding.
We have attempted to contact MakeMyTrip's customer support several times, but we have not received a satisfactory resolution or a clear explanation for the delay. The lack of proper assistance and the continued withholding of such a substantial amount has caused considerable inconvenience and financial hardship.
I therefore request the concerned government/consumer grievance authority to kindly intervene in this matter and direct MakeMyTrip to:
