Complaint against Global Moving Solution for Deficiency in Service, Unfair Trade Practices, and Fraudulent Billing.
1. Background:
The Complainant engaged the services of the Opposite Party for the transport of a car from Bangalore to Chhapra. An initial quotation was agreed upon for Rs 20,000/- (all-inclusive).
2. Hidden Charges & Extortion:
Upon the day of delivery, the Opposite Party unilaterally increased the bill to Rs 28,640/-. This included a sudden demand for Rs 6,300 for insurance and Rs 2,000 as a "service charge," neither of which were mentioned or agreed upon in the initial contract.
3. Insurance Fraud:
The person representing the company (Mobile: 7827482366 ) provided a "policy document" that lacked a policy number and authentic details. This indicates that the insurance fee was collected under false pretenses and no actual insurance was secured for the vehicle.
4. Prayer:
The Complainant prays that this Hon’ble Commission directs the Opposite Party to:
• Refund the excess amount of Rs 8,640/- collected through coercion.
• Pay compensation of Rs [Amount] for mental agony and unprofessional behavior.
• Provide a valid, verifiable insurance policy or refund the insurance premium in full.
