Good day Sir/Madam,
On July 4 2026, I went to TVS-PLA Agencies, service center for my TVS Scooty pep TN61P6213 , regular service and Rear brake issue.
Mr.Vignesh from service center attended my scooty and prepared job card. I told rear break not working, Required oil change and regular service. He himself done test drive and accepted Rear brake not working at all, and convinced to take AMC plan for one year, so you do not need to pay for Rear brake shoes, break wire replacements. It will be covered under AMC plan. I was reluctant to take AMC plan but somehow he brainwashed me to take. And told me to come around 1800 hours for delivery.
I received call around 1700 hours from serive center, they told your scooty is ready you can come and take. 1715 hours I went there, I saw my own eyes they were struggling to start my scooty. Mr.Vignesh told me that because of water wash water May be In the fuel system and also fuel overflow that's why not starting and somehow they started and told it's ready, Pay the bills and take away. Vignesh told me that Break shoes we opened and cleaned, it was in good condition. So no need to replace anything.
Even before paying bill I requested him, I don't want the AMC plan, but he was telling the plan already booked, if you denied to pay myself and cashier need to pay from their pocket. Out of pity I payed all the amount. Total Rs.2226 including AMC plan and oil change.
It is almost 1830 hours, I drove back. During driving back home I felt the Rear brake condition is same as before the service. I filled petrol 3 litres cost around Rs. 324 and parked at my home. Morning when I start the scooty fuel indication showing empty, I saw down the scooty fuel was leaking. I opened the seat cover and saw the fuel delivery line was damaged because of that I lost all the petrol because of their fault.
On July 7 2026, I put 1 litre petrol cost Rs 108 and checked and confirmed with Authentic private mechanic. He discovered the Rear brake system not opened and oil not changed with new one. They not even open the carburetor and cleaned. Only water washed and delivered.
Total money I lost during this dramatic incident- Rs 2958.75
Bill from service center - Rs 2,226
Petrol cost - Rs 432.75
Private mechanic cost -Rs. 300
Kindly provide me the justice and compensation for the depression i went through and the amount I lost.
