I have taken jio fiber connection 5years back and whenever am shifting my location am taking the same fiber connection, but whenever I am relocating last time fiber team is said that we don’t have fiber connection slot vacant so please go with air fiber and we will reimburse the amount whatever available in fiber within 90days, so I have taken air fiber in the month of Oct’24 with 3months recharge, but after completing 90days also I have not received my balance amount to my air fiber account and I have spoken with jio team on 23rd of Jan’25 and they again asked for 30days time, and today 1st march again I called to jio customer care for my money and they are asking another 30days time, i am producing audio proof here to understand the conversation with jio customer care, please help me to get my amount

Dear @Kishan Minumula Ji,

We understand your frustration regarding the unresolved refund from Jio AirFiber following your service relocation. Such delays are unacceptable, and we are committed to assisting you in resolving this matter.

Background of the case:
  • Previous Service: You had a Jio Fiber connection for five years, relocating it successfully multiple times.
  • Current Issue: In October 2024, due to unavailable fiber slots, you switched to Jio AirFiber with a three-month recharge. The Jio team assured you the refund of your remaining jio fiber balance.
  • Follow-Up Attempts: Despite contacting Jio customer care many times, the refund remains pending, with repeated requests for additional 30-day periods.
Recommended Actions before filing case in the Consumer Forum:
  1. Document All Communications:
    • Maintain records of all interactions with Jio customer care, including dates, times, and summaries of conversations, as these can serve as evidence
  2. Escalate to the Jio Appellate Authority:
    • If there's no satisfactory response within a reasonable timeframe, escalate the matter to Jio's Appellate Authority.
  3. File a Complaint with TRAI:
    • Should the issue persist, lodge a complaint with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), which oversees telecom service providers.
  4. Approach the Consumer Forum:
    • If all else fails, consider filing a case with your nearest Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for deficiency in service and seek compensation for the inconvenience caused.

We empathize with your situation and are dedicated to supporting you in securing the refund and ensuring that such issues are addressed promptly.

For any legal assistance, feel free to contact us,
Thanks
