I had been using my Samsung S22+ (SM-S906EZWGINU) mobile. Recently there was an software update popped up on the mobile and the same was updated and installed. Since the new update was installed, i see red coloured vertical line on the screen permanently. I tried to restart the mobile to see if it goes off but as days gone the no of lines on the screen increased to 3 in total. Now yesterday when i visited the Authorised Samsung Service centre in chromepet, Chennai they said it is because of the update but now since the mobile is out of warranty we cannot get it resolved and they advised me to get the screen replaced on chargeable basis. I tried to get the issue resolved by calling the customer care with Ms.Aruna - Customer Care Executive at Chennai, of samsung but none helped. I want to ask as is this a business model to send such updated to damage the screen of the users so that they come back to you either to replace the screen by paying hefty amounts or go for buying a new mobile.
