I am filing this complaint to formally raise a grievance against an online vendor, The Sheen, regarding a refund that has not been processed as promised, along with misleading and contradictory communication that raises concerns of unfair trade practices.
I had placed an order for a top priced at INR 1099 from The Sheen, which was delivered on April 21st, 2024. Due to issues with size and fit, I raised a return request the same day and also paid INR 100 as a return handling fee. The return was picked up within 1–2 days of the request.
The vendor claimed that the refund was processed as store credit on April 22nd. However, no such credit has been reflected in my account to date. I attempted to contact the vendor multiple times via the customer care number and WhatsApp, both listed on their website. My calls went unanswered. On WhatsApp, I received contradictory responses — initially stating that the refund would be processed on April 28th, and later asserting that it had already been processed on April 22nd. These conflicting statements are not only confusing but also misleading.
Despite repeated follow-ups, there has been no resolution. Furthermore, no official update has been provided on the return request status. The lack of response and transparency points to a highly irresponsible and potentially fraudulent approach to customer service.
