Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings of the day.
I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I faced with an order I placed on Swiggy on [insert date], at 7:39 PM.
Shortly after placing the order, I realized that I had mistakenly entered my office address instead of my home address. I noticed the mistake at 7:41 PM and immediately contacted Swiggy customer support to either update the delivery address or cancel the order so I could reorder correctly.
Unfortunately, despite my prompt request, the customer support team delayed taking action. Initially, I was asked to wait for 10 minutes, after which I was informed that the order had already been shipped and that nothing could be done. The first representative assured me that they would either attempt to deliver to my updated address or issue a full refund.
However, when I followed up, a different representative informed me that the order had to be canceled and that the full amount would be deducted as a cancellation fee. I understand that the initial mistake was on my part, but I acted immediately and made every effort to resolve the issue in time. Despite this, the entire amount was charged to me without any resolution or flexibility.
I am attaching the chat history of my conversation with Swiggy support for your reference.
As a consumer, I believe in the Consumer Court; that's why I'm here, so I am seeking justice through the appropriate channels. I kindly request your assistance in helping me resolve this issue and obtain a refund.
