Request for Refund of Remaining AED 890 – Failed Booking and Duplicate Ticket Issue
Dear MakeMyTrip Team,
I am writing to request a refund for the amount deducted from my account for a flight booking from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Gorakhpur through MakeMyTrip.

Details of the Issue
On 3 August 2026, I attempted to book my flight from AUH to Gorakhpur through MakeMyTrip.
The booking initially failed, but AED 1,356 was deducted from my account.
As the booking had failed and I needed to secure my journey, I purchased the ticket from another website.
Approximately one hour later, MakeMyTrip issued a confirmed ticket under a different booking ID: AN71AMQU59997646581.
Therefore, I ended up paying for the ticket twice because the MakeMyTrip booking initially showed as failed.
After 3 days, I cancelled the confirmed MakeMyTrip booking. However, I received only AED 466 as a refund.
The original amount deducted was AED 1,356, so the remaining amount is AED 890.
Refund Request
I kindly request MakeMyTrip to investigate both booking IDs and the payment/refund records and process the remaining AED 890 refund.
The initial booking was shown as failed, which caused me to purchase the ticket from another website. The later confirmation resulted in a duplicate booking, and after cancellation I have received only AED 466 against the original AED 1,356 payment.
I request you to please review this matter and provide the remaining refund at the earliest. I can provide payment proof, bank transaction details, cancellation details, and booking documents if required.
