I am writing to respectfully seek your intervention regarding an issue with Shri Selvavinayaga Auto Finance Group, located at Thudiyalur, Coimbatore, involving non-issuance of receipts, improper accounting, and unfair recovery practices.

I purchased a second-hand Honda Unicorn 160 (Black), Registration No. TN37 CP 3043, from a two-wheeler consultancy shop located in the Pannimadai-Vadamadurai region for ₹60,000. We paid ₹20,000 as the initial amount, and the remaining ₹40,000 was financed through Shri Selvavinayaga Auto Finance Group on 17/10/2023, with monthly dues of ₹4,140 for 12 months.

The first five monthly dues were paid regularly. Later, we made a payment of ₹12,420, covering three dues (6th, 7th, and 8th), but the finance company did not issue any receipt or acknowledgment for this payment. They also counted this amount as only two dues instead of three, which caused discrepancies in the payment record.

Due to the missing receipts and improper accounting, we stopped further payments and requested them to close the loan properly. Unfortunately, they did not respond. After about a year, they approached us for a final settlement of ₹20,000, assuring that once paid, the loan would be closed completely and the RC book would be returned. We paid this amount in full as instructed.

However, they have now counted this ₹20,000 payment as four dues and are demanding one additional due along with ₹24,000 as penalty, even threatening to seize the vehicle if we do not make the payment.

This conduct amounts to unfair financial practices and harassment. We kindly request your good office to investigate this matter, take appropriate action against Shri Selvavinayaga Auto Finance Group, and direct them to release the RC book without imposing any further penalty.

In June 2024, we made a cash payment of ₹12,420 to the Two Wheeler Consulting firm. All dues were paid through them, as they arranged the finance loan. However, upon checking the yellow payment card issued by the finance company, it clearly shows that only two dues have been counted, even though the payment was made for three dues.

I am a disappointed customer of your company because recently we had kept our Ola scooter in the Ola service center, where we know that our Ola scooter is facing battery BMS damage. This is all about before 4 months. To place the order of BMS, we had given OTP in the starting 15 days when Ola sent it to the service center.In the beginning of November, a call was received from the Ola service center in Bhuj, Kutch, Gujarat, that your Ola scooter will be ready on the 26th date of November, but when my father called the service center, they replied that your Ola is not ready because the spare parts are not delivered to the service center and they found another problem with the battery. They also said that the Ola showroom and service center are closed for a week or more because of customer protests.So, I request you to repair my scooter or otherwise give me another scooter for use until this repair. Please repair our scooter as soon as possible.
