Dear Team,
I am writing to formally escalate my complaint regarding a dishwasher purchased through Flipkart. Despite raising four return
requests, my requests have been repeatedly rejected by the seller without proper consideration.
I would like to bring the following facts to your attention:
- Before purchasing this dishwasher from Flipkart, I had purchased the same model from Amazon.
- The Amazon seller was Aarav Enterprise, located in Sarojini Nagar, Delhi.
- When the IFB installation/demo team visited my home for the Amazon order, they informed me that this seller was supplying refurbished IFB products as new. They clearly stated that IFB would not provide installation or warranty support for such a product.
- Based on IFB's confirmation, I immediately returned the product to Amazon, and my return was successfully processed.
- Believing Flipkart to be a reliable platform, I placed a fresh order for the same dishwasher through Flipkart.
- However, after delivery, I found that the invoice attached to the product contained the same seller details and email ID associated with Aarav Enterprise.
- When I contacted the IFB team again, they refused to provide warranty/installation support because they raised concerns about the authenticity of the product.
Since then, I have raised four separate refund requests with Flipkart. Unfortunately, every request has been rejected by the seller. It is unreasonable to expect the seller to impartially decide a dispute involving allegations about the authenticity of the product they supplied.
I purchased this dishwasher expecting a genuine, brand-authorized product with a valid manufacturer's warranty. Instead, I have received a product that the brand has declined to support, making it unsuitable for the purpose for which it was purchased.
I request Flipkart to intervene directly and not rely solely on the seller's decision. I request the following:
1. Approve my refund request immediately.
2. Arrange pickup of the product at the earliest.
3. Conduct an independent investigation into this seller's practices to ensure that other customers are not affected.
I am prepared to provide supporting evidence, including the invoice, screenshots of my previous refund requests, and any communication from the IFB team regarding the warranty denial.
I request a resolution within 48 hours. If this matter is not resolved, I will be constrained to escalate it to the appropriate consumer grievance authorities with all supporting documentation.
I look forward to your prompt response and a fair resolution.
