I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the repeated issues with my Reconnect TV purchased from Reliance on 23-Feb-2025. Within three months, the TV developed a green display problem. The unit was serviced in June, but the same issue recurred and required re-service. In November, the problem repeated yet again, and Reliance replaced the panel in December. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue, as the green display problem reappeared in January 2026. Despite multiple service interventions and a panel replacement, the defect persists. I have now raised a re-complaint requesting a replacement of the unit.
However, Reliance has denied this request, insisting that the product is still serviceable. Given the repeated failures and inconvenience caused, I strongly believe this is a manufacturing defect and not a serviceable issue.
I urge Reliance to take responsibility and provide a replacement for this defective product. Continued denial of replacement despite repeated failures is unacceptable and reflects poorly on customer service standards.
