Dear Sir/Madam,


I am lodging this complaint against Bharti Airtel Limited for failing to activate a prepaid recharge despite successful payment.


On [Insert Date of Payment], I recharged my Airtel mobile number 99872 86973 with ₹249 via UPI. The payment was successfully debited from my account, and the UPI Reference Number is 518320130769. However, the recharge has not been activated, and no services have been credited to my account.


I made repeated attempts to reach Airtel's customer support on the same day and the following morning, but their system made it nearly impossible to speak with a representative. I spent over 2 hours navigating through their automated system without getting any resolution.


This is a clear case of deficiency in service and negligence. I request the Consumer Court to kindly intervene and direct Airtel to do either of the following:


  1. Activate the ₹249 recharge on my mobile number immediately, OR
  2. Refund the full amount of ₹249 to my original payment method.
