This incident took place yesterday evening. I ordered some stationary to be delivered through Porter app. The partner delivered the items upon which the payment of Rs.66 was processed through the scanner shared by him. The amount got deducted from my bank account and it showed successful on my UPI app. A few minutes later the partner contacted us through our security advising the payment was not received. To which I shared him the screenshot explaining it is been deducted and it’s showing successful. He then said that the amount is not reflecting to him bank account. I requested him to speak to his bank to which he blamed us of being fraud. I had a doctor’s appointment during the appointment he called me nearly 6times and later threatened of police complaint. Soon we received a call from police station, where we showed all proof.
The partner was unapologetic of the harassment and the company Porter is not showing any sign of resolution. The customer service called me 7 times to verify the same details.
We were harassed of being fraud and called a thief by the Porter partner Arava Gunashekhar.
We need our redress to be addressed and compensate for the harassment we went through.
