Complaint Details:​

The Complainant, am filing this complaint against HP India and its authorized service center, Dolphinn Technologies, Coimbatore, for deficiency in service, unfair trade practice, and prolonged negligence regarding my HP OMEN Gaming Laptop.

1. Purchase Details:​

The complainant purchased an HP OMEN Gaming Laptop (Model: 16-XF0100AX, Serial No: CND42418H4) on 18-June-2025 from an HP authorized showroom in Coimbatore for Rs. 1,49,500, with a valid 1-year manufacturer warranty.

2. Hardware Issues:​

The laptop exhibited serious hardware issues from the beginning, including but not limited to:
  • GPU not functioning
  • Frequent system hanging and freezing
  • ACPI BIOS errors
  • Malfunctioning keyboard

3. Service Visit:​

The device was submitted to the authorized HP Service Center – Dolphinn Technologies, Coimbatore on 30-June-2025, and a service Case ID: 5145416526 was assigned.

4. Negligence by Service Center:​


Despite repeated follow-ups and visits, the service center has shown gross negligence, poor behavior, and lack of professionalism. After 33 days, the root issue remains unresolved. No proper diagnosis, resolution, or escalation has been done.

5. Consequences Faced by the Complainant:​

  • Mental distress
  • Disruption in professional work
  • Loss of productivity
  • Frustration due to lack of support and accountability

6. Warranty Record Mismatch:​

The Complainant also discovered that HP's official warranty portal reflects incorrect warranty expiry details, despite having valid proof of purchase dated 18-June-2025. This raises concerns over the genuineness of HP’s warranty handling.

PRAYER:​

The Complainant respectfully prays that this Hon’ble Platform may be pleased to:

a) Direct the Opposite Party (HP India and Dolphinn Technologies) to immediately repair or replace the defective laptop and restore it to proper working condition.

b) Award compensation of Rs. 3,00,000 towards:
  • Loss of productivity
  • Mental harassment
  • Inconvenience and delay caused due to defective service
