Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I had placed an order on Flipkart on 10th Oct on the Big Billion Days Midnight sale for a Sony PS5 controller and a GTA 6 PS5 copy Pre-order.
For the Sony PS5 controller delivery was supposed to happen by 10th Oct, 2026 itself and GTA 6 copy was supposed to get delivered on 20th Nov.
This complaint is regarding the Sony PS5 controller which I had followed up with their customer support team 3 times after a period gap of 3-4 days where they promised they would update on the order/get it delivered with 24-48 hrs. But there was no update from them neither the order was delivered. Today I had spoke to a customer support agent and I told him that since the order is not getting delivered, please cancel the item from the order from the company's end and refund the amount that I had paid specifically for the Controller. Instead they tricked me and cancelled the whole order and even penalised a processing fee which they claim as non refundable and wrote that customer initiated the cancellation. When I asked the customer executive that my whole refund was not initiated he said as a token of apology they will deposit the balance (which is the processing fee in my wallet). I told him that this is against the law, since you had failed to deliver my order you owe me a full refund to my source account. But they were reluctant and unbothered about this concern and they even said they dont have a customer care email id where I could write my grivance. Why should my money be stuck in their wallet when my order was not fulfilled. This is pure cheating and considering India having a population of 140 Cr, I can just imagine how many more people are scammed in such a manner. As a responsible citizen of this country, I felt this is my moral duty to report such matter even though the money is Rs 66. But such Corporate who are dealing with such B2C models are scamming their customers with such policies and mechanical customer support which are against the Indian Law. Strict actions should be taken against such companies and their dealings with with customers.
