I am writing to publicise and seek a resolution for an unfair trade practice and severe deficiency of service by Amazon India.
I ordered a brand-new pair of OnePlus wireless earphones from Amazon. Upon delivery, the item was completely Dead on Arrival (DOA). The earphones do not turn on, charge, or function in any capacity. This means Amazon and its seller failed to fulfill the primary contract of sale by delivering a non-working, useless product.
When I contacted Amazon Customer Support immediately to claim a refund or replacement, they flatly refused. They are attempting to absolve themselves of consumer liability by stating that I must contact the brand (OnePlus) directly to get a denial letter or use my warranty.
