I purchased an Ola S1 Air scooter in October 2023 for ₹1,28,000. By March 2026, the battery had completely failed, despite the scooter being well-maintained and having run only 12,000 km.
I submitted the scooter to the service center for battery repair. However, it took them almost six months to repair and return the vehicle. During this entire period, I was left without my primary mode of transportation and had to make alternative arrangements for my daily commute to the office.
When the scooter was finally returned to me in September 2026, I was shocked to find that its condition had deteriorated significantly while it was in the service center's custody. The scooter had major scratches, visible physical damage, and a broken stand. When I raised these concerns, the service center staff responded rudely and stated, "This is what it is, take it or leave it." They further claimed that I had been advised not to leave the scooter with them because they lacked adequate parking space. This response was unacceptable, especially considering that I had already spent ₹2,000 on towing charges to send the scooter to the service center.
Despite the damaged condition, I took the scooter back because I believed at least the battery issue had been resolved. However, I soon discovered that the scooter's performance had drastically deteriorated. Before the repair, I consistently received a range of 85-90 km per charge. After the repair, the range dropped significantly to only 60-65 km per charge.
Within a few days of using the scooter, the battery failed again and the scooter became completely unusable. I had to incur an additional ₹700 in transportation costs to tow the scooter back to the service center.
Since then, I have repeatedly attempted to contact Ola customer support through phone calls and emails, but I have received little to no response. I also filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), where I was assured that the issue would be resolved at the earliest. However, there has been no meaningful progress. Even now, after more than half a month since the scooter was re-submitted for repair, I have received no update on its status.
Given the repeated battery failures, excessive repair delays, poor service quality, damage caused while the scooter was in the custody of the service center, lack of customer support, and the significant mental stress and inconvenience suffered over the past several months, I am seeking:

Given the repeated battery failures, excessive repair delays, poor service quality, damage caused while the scooter was in the custody of the service center, lack of customer support, and the significant mental stress and inconvenience suffered over the past several months, I am seeking:
- A full refund of the purchase price of ₹1,28,000.
- Reimbursement of all towing and transportation expenses incurred due to the repeated failures.
- Compensation for the 6-7 months of inconvenience, travel disruption, mental harassment, and financial losses suffered as a result of Ola's failure to provide a reliable product and reasonable after-sales service.
