Subject: 15 Days’ Notice for Deficiency in Service and Unreasonable Delay in Repair/Delivery of Vehicle
Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Your Name, hereby serve upon you this notice as under:
That I am the owner of Vehicle Name (Model: Model Name), purchased on DATE with a Registration No.: Number, which was submitted at your authorized service centre: NAME and ADDRESS on DATE for repair/service.
Mention this if the Vehicle is under warranty
The said vehicle is under warranty, which is valid till DATE.
That it has been more than NUMBER days since the vehicle was handed over to your service centre; however, the same has not been repaired or returned to me till date, without any valid justification.
That despite repeated follow-ups through your customer care, service centre visits, and communications, your company has failed to provide any definite timeline, proper updates, or resolution, reflecting gross negligence and lack of accountability.
That due to your failure, I have suffered severe inconvenience, loss of mobility, additional expenses on alternative transport, mental agony, and harassment, for which you are liable.
Accordingly, you are hereby finally called upon to:
a) Immediately complete the repair and deliver my vehicle in proper working condition within 7 days, OR in the alternative;
b) Provide a replacement vehicle / refund the cost of the vehicle ₹amount, if repair is not feasible within a reasonable time;
c) Reimburse all expenses incurred on alternative transportation during this period; and
d) Pay compensation of ₹amount towards mental agony, harassment, and inconvenience.
You are hereby granted 15 (fifteen) days from the date of receipt of this notice to comply with the above demands.
Failing which, I shall be constrained to initiate appropriate legal proceedings against your company before the Hon’ble Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and other competent authorities, at your entire risk as to costs and consequences, without any further notice.
This notice is issued without prejudice to all my legal rights and remedies available under law.
