Dear Sir,
Good Day.
I have booked a ticket on 19/12/2025 through the Make My Trip Website for my son Vaigarai Sathi's travel from New York to Mumbai and back vide booking id NN2AIJSC36111620731. The copy of the Tax Invoice is enclosed herewith.
When I checked my AIS on the Income Tax Portal in the 1st week of May 2026, I have found that the TCS of an amount of Rs. 19423/- was not refelected against my PAN ASPPP8421P which I have provided at the time of booking the ticket. Ideally this TCS should have been deposited by Make My Trip with the IT Authorities in the month of Jan 2026 itself. But, the same was not done till May 2026 and I have taken up the same with Make My Trip thorugh the grievanceofficer@makemytrip.com and their "X" handle.
I have also tried to call the Customer Support Number on this issue, but the same was of no avail due to the non-human / customer unfriendly interface.
There was no reply to the email sent to the grievanceofficer@makemytrip.com, but, there was a protracted communications on the "X" handle and on 1/6/2026, MMT advised me that the same has been addressed and to check after 20 days.
As per the above, when I checked the same on 7/7/2026, it was still observed that the TCS collected from me was not yet deposited to the IT Authorities. I have got the same checked through my CA also. Again, I have taken up the same with MMT thorugh their "X" handle on 7/7/2026 and they have advised me that they will check and revert within 48 hours. But, they have not come back.
Now, if the TCS is not deposited before 31/7/2026, I will not be able to take credit for the same while filing my ITR for 2025-26.
Apart from loss to me, this type of act also amount undue profiting and unfair trade practices.
Requesting you to help me in resolving the matter urgently as I need to file my income tax returns well before 31/7/2026.
