Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against DTDC Courier Services regarding a parcel that was marked as delivered but was never received by us.

On 27th Sep, I sent parcel to my sister , which was to be delivered by 30th Sep through DTDC Courier.

However, despite the tracking status showing "delivered," They never received the parcel.

On 30th Sep, we contacted DTDC customer service and lodged a complaint. We were told the issue would be resolved in 24-48 hours, but there has been no action or follow-up from their side.

DTDC's customer service has been extremely negligent, offering no updates, no resolution, and showing complete disregard for the inconvenience caused.

I have spent considerable time and effort trying to get a resolution, which has been mentally exhausting and emotionally distressing.

I request the Consumer Forum to take strict action against DTDC for:
Misleading delivery status.
Irresponsible handling of customer complaints.
Lack of accountability and customer communication.

I am also seeking compensation for the undelivered item and the mental stress caused by this ordeal.

Looking forward to your immediate intervention in the matter.

  • Send a Formal Written Complaint to DTDC
    • Send an email or letter to DTDC’s regional manager or grievance officer.
    • Clearly state the issue: parcel marked delivered but never received, destination changed without consent.
    • Demand a thorough investigation, immediate status update, and compensation for the loss.
  • File a Complaint with Consumer Protection Forum
    • If DTDC doesn’t resolve within 7-10 days, escalate by filing a complaint with the Consumer Forum or Consumer Court.
    • Attach your proof, complaint copies, and a demand for compensation.
  • Contact Your Payment Provider
    • If you paid online for this delivery or shipment, check if your payment provider (credit card, UPI, etc.) offers buyer protection.
    • Sometimes they can help dispute the charge or recover the payment.
  • Use Social Media/Public Platforms
    • Post your grievance publicly on DTDC’s Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
    • Public exposure often speeds up response.
