Niva Bupa Health Insurance wrongfully rejected my hospitalization insurance claim despite granting pre-approval and conducting verification during my hospitalization. Thereafter, I filed a complaint before the Insurance Ombudsman, Noida; however, despite a lapse of more than two months, no effective hearing or adjudication has taken place till date. I have also sent repeated reminders and emails to the Insurance Ombudsman, but no resolution has been provided. Due to the arbitrary conduct and deficiency in service on the part of the insurance company, I am constrained to file the present complaint before this Hon’ble Consumer Commission.
