Hi Team
I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding a negative credit card overdue that is incorrectly reflecting in my CIBIL report.
Upon noticing this discrepancy, I contacted your Axis Bank Customer Service team. They advised me to reach out to CIBIL directly. However, when I approached the CIBIL team, they redirected me back to Axis Bank for resolution. Hence, I am reaching out to you to help resolve this matter.
As per the Axis bank Customer Service, there is an alleged overdue amount of ₹35,400 linked to a credit card but its not in my account(Registered email ID/Mobile Number) but reflecting in Cibil report. However, I have not held this credit card for nearly 10plus years, and I am unable to understand how this overdue is being reported as active from last year.
I am enclosing my CIBIL report for your reference. It clearly shows the account as “Closed,” yet it still reflects as an active negative account, which is affecting my credit profile. I even visited my local Axis Bank branch, and they confirmed that there is no active or overdue credit card under my name.
Due to this incorrect reporting, my pre-approved loan of ₹7 lakhs was rejected on July 25. I kindly request your urgent assistance in investigating and rectifying this issue at the earliest.
