I had booked a bus ticket from Hyderabad to Pune on 14th December 2025. The boarding from Hyderabad was scheduled at 8:15pm from Gachibowli, Hyderabad and was to reach Wakad, Pune at 6:55am. I had called the bus driver at 7:15pm on 14th December 2025 and asked the ETA of the bus. The driver had said that the bus was running late and would arrive at 9:00pm. I was still ok with that ETA of the bus.
The bus driver calls me at 8:00pm and informs me that the bus is 2.5 hours late and the delay might extend further. I could not afford to risk the journey as it was for my partner who works in pune. I had to leave for Bangalore the same day at 8:40pm by bus booked via Goibibo.
Therefore, this raised a concern for women's safety and the next day being Monday, she had to report to the office by 8:00am. Due to the inappropriate management of the bus service, it was total mental distress for me and my partner. We had to book an alternate bus option which neither had our preferred seat nor the desired drop location. Being an emergency, we had to book the alternate bus (Jaguar Travels) from different pickup locations. Somehow, she managed to board the alternate bus and reach Pune.
This was totally a disaster by Vikram Travels. When I tried to contact the Goibibo support regarding this issue, it was more pathetic than Vikram Travels. There was no proper channel to express my concern. I had already called 8-9 times on the customer care number. I did not get the expected response from your team. This is more frustrating. I have been using Goibibo for all my travel purposes.
This kind of treatment is not expected from Goibibo, atleast towards their Gotribe customers. I am expecting a response for this issue. Please consider it as a gentle warning before I go take any legal action. Please find the Booking ID and alternate bus ticket attached below.
