I am writing to lodge a formal grievance regarding unethical sales practices and unauthorized misuse of my identity and agent credentials by staff at your Moradabad branch. This matter involves Sales Executive Mr. Nimit Agarwal and Branch Manager Mr. Chaudhary.

Key Facts of the Case:

  1. Initial Intent and Misrepresentation
I approached the Moradabad branch to purchase a term insurance plan for myself and my wife. Despite clear communication, I was persistently pressured into purchasing a ULIP policy instead. When I objected to the premium cost, I was advised to become an insurance agent merely to receive commissions that would offset the expense. I explicitly declined this offer. However, I was repeatedly assured that the agent code was only for crediting commissions on my own policies and would require no effort or responsibility from me.
  2. Improper Agent Activation and Forged Training Participation
I received OTPs related to IRDA training modules, which I stated I could not attend. I was told it was not an issue and later discovered that a trainer allegedly completed them on my behalf. I only appeared for and passed the IRDA exam.
  3. Policy Issuance and Financial Strain
Two ULIP policies were issued—not for the promised ₹1 crore sum assured but ₹90 lakhs each. Details:
    • Gurpreet Singh Policy No. U234960741 Issue Date: 24 Feb 2024
    • Seema Chadha Policy No. U234948938 Issue Date: 24 Feb 2024
  4. I borrowed money on interest to pay the premiums based solely on the promise of commission. No commission has been paid to date.
  5. Misuse of My Agent Code
After failed attempts to resolve this through Mr. Agarwal and Mr. Neeraj Chaudhary, I raised the issue via the Tata AIA Siddhi mobile app. Following that escalation, two monthly policies were issued under my agent code (9384352 / TATAAIA9384352)—policy holder name (Pradeep and Vishal) by Nimit Agarwal without my knowledge or consent. One of these policies, indicating fraudulent misuse of my credentials.
  6. Ignored Escalation and Lack of Accountability
I also reached out via WhatsApp to Mr. Ananta Thakur (Cluster Head) contact no. 9818880630, requesting his official email to escalate the matter. Despite being active in the company group, he chose not to respond.

I am therefore demanding the following actions:

  1. Immediate cancellation of both ULIP policies (U234960741 and U234948938)
  2. Full refund of all premiums paid
  3. A written explanation detailing how these transactions and agent records were processed
  4. Removal of all four unauthorized policies issued under my agent code
  5. Permanent closure of my Tata AIA and IRDA agent credentials (Code: 9384352 / TATAAIA9384352)
