Dear Team,
My self, Mrs. Aparna Chakraborty is account Holder of Bandhan Bank in Naihati and Halisahar Branch. My family has 6 savings accounts in Bandhan bank and always maintained an excellent balance. Also, we have 10 FD (approx. value 35 lakh) in Bandhan bank.
In the month of December 2021, I have done FD of Rs. 4,80,000/’ in West Bengal Naihati Branch. But Bandhan Branch Manager Mr. Arijit Bhattacharjee (Bh.naihati@bandhanbank.com, 90739214941) and Sales Manager Sayan and Subhankar have misguided me. I informed them to make 8 FD of Rs. 60,000. But they have trackfully frauded with me. They have done 1 HDFC Insurance named “Sanchay Par advantage policy” (Policy no. 24428997) of Rs. 60,000/ ’and they trackfully ECS signed by me where yearly premium was Rs. 60,000/-. Also, they have done 7 FD of Rs. 60,000 each and maintain FD mature time as per HDFC Life Insurance premium Date. I was not aware about this Life Insurance policy and premium. Already 3 FDs have matured and are being refunded to my Savings account. But the same amount was deducted as premium of HDFC Insurance without my concern. We signed each paper as per confirmation of your branch executive but your bank executive made a fraud with me. Without my concern they made a HDFC LIFE Insurance (Policy no. 24428997) instead of 8 FD. Bandhan Bank Branch executives and BM. Informed me that all my FDs are in the auto renewal process. So, when the matured FD amount was debited from my savings account, I did not check the same.
Last week (24.06.2025) I came to know about this fraud. I have visited Bandhan Bank branch and transferred all bank balance and FD amount to another bank account.
Also i visited the HDFC Life Office at Barasat West Bengal they told me As on date HDFC Insurance name “Sanchay Par advantage policy” (Policy no. 24428997) surrender value is Rs. 80,496/’.Also confirm this amount in mail. I am requesting to Bandhan Bank And HDFC Life for refunding
the total 4 FD amount (60,000 * 4 = 2,40,000/-) in my savings account within 4 working days. Otherwise, I must escalate the issue to RBI and social media.But they are denied that.
I am requesting you Please look in this matter in urgent basis.
I already shared this issue in the West Bengal School Teacher Association Group and hopefully within July ‘25 maximum school teachers are closing all running FD before maturity date and closing saving account.
