On 16 May, I placed an order on the Forever New India website for two dresses worth 15k rupees. I did not like them, so I placed return requests for both the dresses. On 23 May a female delivery partner from Delhivery came to pick up my order and successfully picked up both the dresses. However, later in the day I got a Whatsapp message from Delhivery saying that pickup was unsuccessful. The pickup was reattempted 3-4 times and everytime the pick up person would call me to ask whether I am available for pick up and I would respond that the pick up has already happened. Finally on 31 May and 1 June, the return was marked as cancelled on the Delhivery app. I called Forever New support on 5 June asking about the status of the return but they told me that it's been marked as cancelled from their end and they haven't received it. I tried contacting Delhivery support customer care but I couldn't reach a human through the phone number - it was an automated chatbot which told me that a support ticket has been created for me. On 6 June, I received a callback from the customer support agent to whom I explained my situation, and they informed me that the delivery partner must not have marked the order as delivered. They would reach out to the delivery partner (Nandini) and retrieve the items from her and they would arrange a callback on 8 June. It is 8 June today, and I got a message from the support chatbot saying that nothing can be done for my order since it has been marked as cancelled. Moreover, I talked to a different delivery partner today, Pradeep, who told me that Nandini has been fired from Delhivery since she got a lot of customers' items stolen and she has been fined for 42k rupees. I requested a callback from Delhivery support but there has been no response.
Today, I have sent a legal notice to whistle_blower@delhivery.com and charipersonac@delhivery.com demanding a refund of 15k and threatening legal action on their failure to do so within 7 days.
Please suggest further actions for complaint resolution and redressal.
